Pastor SchroederMark Joshua Schroeder was born August 25, 1981 in Saginaw, Michigan.  He is the fourth of five sons born to Pastor Lynn and Rachel Schroeder.

Mark attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw for high school and upon graduation in 1999 he enrolled in Martin Luther College.  He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree and graduated from MLC in 2003.  In the spring of 2005, Mark received the divine call to serve as Vicar at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Rockford, Michigan.  On June 10, 2005 Mark married Alissa (nee Pfeifer) in Watertown, Wisconsin.  In May of 2007 Mark graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree and received the divine call to serve as Tutor (dorm supervisor/teacher) at Michigan Lutheran Seminary.  For two years, Mark taught Church History and New Testament as well as serving as a coach for the football team.  During their two years at MLS the Schroeders doubled with the births of their two children, Lydia (December 1, 2007) and Elijah (May 9, 2009).  On May 21, 2009 Mark was reassigned to serve as Pastor at Tree of Life.
